Taberns Director Enjoys Saints Stadium Tour
A real treat was enjoyed by Director of Tabern Lettings, John Tabern this week when he visited the new St Helens RFC Stadium, ahead of it opening in 2012.
St Helens born John has been a Saints fan since he was a boy, and even worked for the club in Corporate Sales Management for a number of years.
John only decided to leave the club when he decided to concentrate on working full time in his family business Tabern Lettings with his wife Grace, which has grown from strength to strength since it opened in 2004.
Saints Stadium Manager, Phil White, personally invited John for a private tour of the stadium build this week and John jumped at the chance.
Talking about the tour John said, “The Stadium is quite simply awesome and even though it is not yet finished it is easy to see that it betters any of the other recent Stadium builds and will certainly have rival clubs green with envy.”
“I look forward to enjoying the new facilities in 2012 as I join the fans in cheering the Saints to victory.”
