Original Saints Supporters Club – Player of the Year Awards

This week Tabern Lettings attended the ‘Original Saints Supporters Club – Player of the Year Awards’ in their capacity as one of the main sponsors of the club.

Taberns have sponsored the Supporters Club since they relocated their activities to the Black Bull back in 2005. This year they had the proud privilege to be sponsoring and presenting the inaugural ‘Keiron Cunningham Trophy’.

In the Company of Eamonn McManus, most of the First Team squad and representation from the under 21s and 18s, the new award was won by James Roby, who also made off with the Player of the Year award. John Tabern – Director Tabern Lettings presented the KC Trophy which was instigated as an award to recognise a player who has made an outstanding contribution to St Helens RLFC and is chosen by the Saints Board of Directors on behalf of the Supporters Club.

It wasn’t the only presentation made by Tabern Lettings on the night. Daniel Richardson – Maintenance Manager for Tabern Lettings also had the honour of presenting James with his Player of the Year Award on behalf of other long term sponsor Hattons Solicitors who could not be at the event.

The event was well attended with many supporters getting a first rate opportunity to see their hero’s, bagging photos and autographs into the bargain.
